What traveling music festival would you go to?

Probably sounds of the Underground because of SYL. Definetly not ozzfest, and most likely not Gigantour because of Dave. Who else is on Gigantour though?

They all suck. If I had a shit-ton of money and could pick one, I'd go to Gigantour just for Nevermore and Megadeth. The signal-to-noise ratio at Ozzfest is embarassing, and Sounds of the Underground is possibly the worst package tour I have ever seen.

If I had to go to one, I would just go REALLY LATE to Ozzfest and see just Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.

Travelling festivals seem to always be so shitty. Seems like one-off festivals are generally a lot better. Prog-Power ranges from nice to really great, and Maryland Deathfest is definitely great, wish I could go to that, and wish I hadn't been like really young for Prog Power III with two of my favorite progressive bands there.

But between the travelling festivals, if I had to pick, Gigantour. The only band on Sounds Of The Underground I love is Strapping Young Lad, and I saw them on their headlining tour, so no need to see them in whatever thirty minute slot they have there.

I'm going to Gigantour on Monday. I saw Opeth at an off-date from SOTU, and I will be seeing In Flames at an off-date from Ozzfest. So if you look at it, I will have practically attended all 3.

Odessa, TX is the one I went to. They also had off-dates in Austin, TX and Rochester, NY.
