The name lies in the saga series "Isfolket" kind of a nordic LOTR but maybe less brutality and more romantism, and of course Sandemo isn't Tolkien.

I took the name many years ago, and if I should take one now it would of course be a different, but still it's a name that we can do whatever we want under, noone can tell what can of music you should compose under such a quite bizzare name. I mean if you're calling the band Slayer you must do one kind of music, and now when they're not doing that it feels very misleading. So in that case our name is timeless and genreless.............

Try the latest album "visions from the spiral generator" is kind of genreless, we use many aspects and are kind of progressive I guess, not limiting the music to the common musical rules.

hmmm.... let me get this straight, you haven't heard any vintersorg-songs but you dislike it anyway?
that's very odd if that's the case... judgeing a bands music by their name.
