Whats Playing Now Thread

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

Dead Soul Tribe - Let The Hammer Fall
One of many bands I find myself enjoying a lot more when I listen to them without any particular expectations.

Dead Soul Tribe are an awesome band.
one of my favs.
can't get enough of them, as this thread proves.:p:headbang:

Now playing: Neskimos - Metroid Norfair Ten Ement Blues

a cover of a theme from the Metroid game with added vocals.
reminds me a little of early NiN stuff.
only good. :):Smug:

Been listening to Death Magnetic for most of the morning... as much as it shits all over St Anger and it has some fairly decent moments, it's mostly a very uninspired mish-mash of the various generic thrashy elements from the first four albums :(. I'm starting to see why Hammett didn't want to play solos any more. Then again I suppose that means most 'old-school' Metallica fans should like it.
