"What's the hardest part of being in a metalcore band?"

Nice one

Here's another:

LOL
an old one:

what's the difference between an AE and a nazi ?¿

That you can discuss with the nazi

which reminds me of this:

http://meneame.net/story/suena-error-himno-nazi-acto-oficial

for those who can't read Spanish: last year, the 3rd Reich anthem started to sound by mistake while welcoming a German delegation in Poland what freezed the blood to everybody there as it reminded them of the invasion period.

I didn't get it. Is this from the client's point of view? Also, an AE tries to make the client seem as good as he possibly can, whereas the nazi does his best to eliminate him.

ah sorry I meant YOU can reach an agreement with the nazi.

You know, the bands says gain at eleven and a half, then the AE smiles, and that sort of things.

I heard the joke a little differently.

What's the difference between a Nazi and a guitarist?

You can negotiate with the nazi.

But those jokes are kinda lame though, because there's nothing about the joke that makes it specifically funny that it's an AE/guitarist (and not a film director/CEO/commanding officer etc.)

Really? I thought it was very obvious? I thought it was more funnier as the guitarist seeing that guitarists are so anal and won't budge when trying to suggest a change to his tone/performance.

Yeah, but change a few key words and the exact same thing could be said of the people I mentioned above, there's just nothing overly specific to guitarists in there

Unlike, for example, "What's the difference between a drummer and a toddler? The toddler can count to four!" (guffaw guffaw :D), where the punch line relates more specifically to the drummer (though I guess it could be said for any musician, and probably has, so I guess that's still not the best example, but you get the idea ;))
