Hey Thraxdude you perfectionist you  you could've told him it was the Temps and not the Commodores too.

Also, since a lot of us said no covers on GO2E did anyone suggest none of the above on best covers

I knew someone was going to bring this up. Actually, it wasn't. It was originally recorded by The Chantays. Scott mentions The Ventures in the liner notes as a band to check out regarding surf music. The Ventures covered it somewhere down the line, but Pipeline all started with The Chantays in 1963.

...I did bone out on Ball of Confusion, though.

Interesting note on the Chantays, never new that and never heard of the band. Now I gotta find their original version. :kickass:

D'OH! I was wondering if the Ventures covered the Chantays. But replied without doing my research. Sorry, dude.

Easily the best cover is Friggin In The Riggin - best Anthrax b-side along with Bud E Luvbomb & Satan's Lounge Band

Also released over the years were a handful of original songs that didn't make an album...
is "raise hell" considered on an album? it's on the armed and dangerous e.p. but, that's the only place it appears. that's just a extened single. or "extended play" if you wanna get technical.

my favorite cover is "turn it up, bring the noise". it made assholes like fred durst turn their hat's backwards and pull thier pant's down to their knee's.

Bud E. Luvbomb & Satan's Lounge Act
I Am the Law '91
Noisegate
Poison My Eyes
A Million Black Lodge remixes, as well as remixes of Potters Field, Hy Pro Glo, & Fueled
Grunt & Click
Bordello of Blood
Giving the Horns
Ghost

Forgive me if I missed a few... but I think I nailed 'em all.

There's also "Who Put This Together" from the Got The Time single (I think).
