what's your gameplan for 2k5?

yea i wouldnt sweat the lsat, i took it a long time ago, but i didnt prepare at all and i did ok. it's like any other test. i can't stand when people freak out about tests they can't really truly prepare for anyway.
the lsac website has good advice on applying/looking into schools and stuff.

Yeah, I've also been considering doing some sort of joint-degree program recently wherever I end up going, where you can get both a masters and a J.D. in four years. I think I'd probably enjoy doing that rather than going back at some later date for the masters after working for a while and getting out of the whole school mindset.

be careful though, a lot of my friends that have a JD and go for non-practice jobs as attorneys have trouble getting them! because people assume a person with a JD is automatically overqualified or will eventually leave their job to 'make a lot of money' as an attorney (since of course it's the assumption that all attorneys make $250,000 a year). i know 4 friends that can't find work right now because of this! in NYC at least. it stinks.

- those little shreds of what i used to call creativity/inspiration/half-baked ideas, as well as whatever wisps of personality i have left: cleaned out and picked clean like a scraggly chicken bone, as all the rest of it was, chunk after chunk, by vultures who need anecdotes in bars or smalltalk as part of the overall getting-laid-stew or what have you. the doors are open, guys - hey want some pictures i drew too?

avi, that is beautiful news for you. i've always wondered if grant money was attainable toward label ventures.

i would give 4.8k of that monthly wage back to minx for her jinkiness.
