What's your ideal 45-minute motW live set?

its caleb! well i cant remeber any of the maudlin songs but i think id have ferocious eights be ont ehre, uh the "swan's wings" tune there all the interludes and only a few of the heavy tunes, definitely the last tune on leaving your body map and, well why dont u just make all your albums be magically 45 mintues even though there liek 2 1/2 hours together, this doesnt make any sense does it? well greg knows what im talkin about, even though he's moving to ri, where am i gonna vget my guitar klesson now!

Since most people seem to have posted longer sets, I tried to do timed ones. And I thought an acoustic set (maybe in a music school's small auditorium or something) would be cool should you get around to doing that someday. The sets are pretty tight on time, so there is to be absolutely NO talking in between songs. No bathroom breaks, no beer runs, no broken strings/sticks/reeds, no funny jigs, no nothing. Got it?

I put portions of some tracks, simply for sake of time. I know some fans hate when bands do this, but I like it.
I liked the idea of going into Bizarre Flowers after like a 2-second pause after the end of Gleam.. because after the hurried rush at the end of Gleam, the beginning of Bizarre is like a relaxing breath of fresh air- like you run up a thousand stairs in a tiny claustrophobic stairwell, get to the top, open the door, and there's a bright blue sky and a wide open field of grass. And lots of free beer. I think there's a little from each record in each set, and hopefully the song orders make sense to more people than just me.

i fucked up i meant catharsis instead of ferocious weights but it doesnt metter, i jsut want u guys to be able to play everythign u've recorded because you are probubly one the ebst abnds in the world so i dont think deicast and origin shoudl get in your way, headline~

itll be a little hard to play interlude 2 live. unless they have a pond on stage where one of them can jump into... which would be awesome. you guys should do that!

haha. if they play the ferryman and marid's gift of art, then they should get someone on stage to take a bath inbetween. i'd do that. maybe maria could join in. oh wait, she's not in the band anymore.

I take it we won't ever see this live, or hear this on a CD ever? It makes me sad.

It's as close to 45 minutes as I could make it.
1. Heaven and Weak
2. Gleam in Ranks
3. Blight of River Systems (Mia can sing, right?)
4. Birth Pains
5. Bizarre Flowers/A Violent Mist
6. The Aren't all Beautiful
7. Riseth He, The Numberless Part 2
8. Interlude 4 (This song makes me cry, it makes me think that MotW is gone, while reincarnated, they'll never be the same.)

The Curve that to an Angle Turn'd
Ferocious Weights
They Aren't All Beautifull
Sleep is a Curse
Heaven and Weak
Bizzare Flower ( A Violent Mist )
Gleam In Ranks
Stones of October's Sobbing for closing, which is my favourite MotW song.

55 minutes. Can't bring myself to take anything else out. I originally had Riseth He, the Numberless pt.1 and 2 after Sleep.
