if your judgement is already jaded or biased, then there's no point of trying to change your mind. But if anything I'd say look up some of their old material off of these albums. I mean, if you're looking for super technical, multi-syllabic rhyme schemes then you won't be impressed. Theyre story tellers. Ya gotta remember, gimmicks are appealing when you're 12 or 13 so try to look past that. I can still put on one of these albums to this day and say "damn, this is still pretty cool" so at least try to be unbiased.
