They'll probably start writing in mid 2010, record in late 2010 (while still writing; the impression I get is that they come to the studio without everything completely written and finish it there), and the album will be released in 2011.

I would like an album to release in 2010, but with all the touring Opeth has been doing for the last couple of albums it's just not realistic.
