When your favourites stuff up

What are some specific times when your favourite band or singer has done something and you've wondered, "Dude, what were you thinking, dawg?".
You kids should read things a bit more carefully. I knew people would post "this album - BAH!!" or "after this particular year - HUMBUG!!", hence my use of the word "specific".

Post Dio Rainbow- formulaic, radio friendly garbage.
What I've heard of that I like alot better than the Dio stuff. It has keyboards, better songs, catchier choruses, and more hooks.

That is specific, those bands have sucked at everything they have done, every day, for the dates I listed.

Sabbath : When they Hired Ian Gillan as lead singer , the mix on "Born Again" is shit.
Sabbath: Playing smoke on the Water as an encore during " Born Again" Tour.
Sabbath:The Jeff Feinholt thing . did he join the band or not????

I saw Jeff Fenholt at a concert singing Christian songs and stuff. He promoted himself as being from Black Sabbath, but I still don't know when it was alleged to have happened. They had the words to his songs on the ceiling on an OHP for the audience to sing along to.

Phil Anselmo and Pantera in general. Cowboys From Hell is one fucking killer album, and whilst I do like some of their stuff since then, they really lost it. Seeing them live, they played a great show, but Phil just didn't shut the fuck up between songs, he was high as a kite and talking so much shit, and I hear he is even worse now with SJR, it is embarassing.
Phil was disgraceful that night. The band was good, but he just ranted on and on, talking more crap than a conservative politician.

:OMG:Fuk that would have been a little odd , does he have a good voice .....

Jeff Fenholdt is an great singer. His album with Joshua - Surrender shows what a great singer he is. I also saw him on that christian thing Spiffo. Was interesting to hear him speak even if I thought most of it was crap. He was in Sabbath for five minutes around the time of David Donato. He was also in Rainbow for a very little while.

If I was to name a band I love that has disappointed me it would be Queensryche. And Operation Mindcrime 2 reeks of desperation.

I can't remember if he had a good voice because it was like 15 years ago. The whole night was good for a laugh though. :) Mark wore his Sabbath shirt, didn't see anyone else there with one though. I'm guessing most people were there with church groups and the like.
