thanx,

Yeah! I've been thinking about this as well, and did
a little search, but couldn't find one, yet.
I'm sure there has to be one out there, or it will be
made some day! :o) There are all sorts of fonts out
there... An Opeth one would rock! :o)

I would be really interested in this. I had a program called Fontographer that is supposed to be good for making fonts. I never used it, though. I just downloaded it for someone who was really good with it. I hope someone is bored one day and make that font. I'd use it all the time! :p

The logo was built up, I'm pretty sure. There is no "Opeth font" in existence and versions of all the capital letters except "O" and small letters except "p", "e", "t", and "h" haven't been designed.

I've found some vaguely similar substitutes, using a couple fonts in combination, but the Pixel Manipulator can't give away all his secrets, now, can he?

Of course it isn't a font.... I was thinking about it last
night and writing Opeth with an Opeth-font would
be pretty hard cause the O has that line sticking out
to the right, which would take up a lot of space, and
you would not be able to write "over" it, if you know
what I mean :oP You would get the p AFTER that
long line... That would look stupid!

Anyways I downloaded fontographer yesterday and
might try the programme out one of these days...
I doubt I'll make an Opethfont though, cause I have
no idea how the other letters should look like....
I'm just not creative enough >:oP

I want that Blackwater Park font, the stylized one with the tall curved vertical lines. It's got to be a real font.

Hi!
I've always been wanting those opeth fonts used in the cd booklets, etc. but I don't have em.

There is a font called UECHI that you can search for and download.. it's very similiar to the Opeth "O". It's got an O and some fancy squirly stuff inside it like the Opeth O. The peth is sort of like old english but still nice. Not as good as someone making an opeth font, but in a pinch, definitely Uechi is the closest I've found. :)
