The Amoeba in SF stocks copies every so often. If you want, I'll keep an eye out for it and mail you a copy & bill, and if it turns out you don't need it by then, then I'll just keep it cause that album fuckin rules.
:)

Oh yeah I'll be up there in a few weeks. Cool. Far out. Awesome. Linguo. Etc.

Hey, I just read over on The Ajna Offensive's site that they're going to be distributing a licensed North American version of the album around mid-October.

well, it's mid october now, and I don't see it, but surely it should be soon!

It's a fact that Southern Lord will be distributing this in a very short time. CD Universe shows the release date for US distribution as November 14, 2006. By the way, the CD Universe price is pretty sweet. Even if you include their shipping costs. Preorder it now, bitches.

What's funeral mist like? I keep hearing good things.

If Deathspell gets a US release this month, then it's going to be in my top ten of '06. :loco:

Funeral Mist is more of an aggressive and hateful BM band than Deathspell, but they are much more than just that. They are hard to describe. I guess I'd put them somewhere in the Gorgoroth meets Mayhem meets modern BM area. That's probably a terrible description. I love the band, though. VERY evil sounding.

If DsO is the cold wind hissing through the woods, Funeral Mist is the raging ford that cleaves it.

At first they may seem to be just another Dark Funeral clone, but even though they play almost as fast and equally brutal, they have a lot more to offer in terms of interesting lyrcis, atmosphere and musicianship.

Holy Poison, the best song of the album

HOLY POISON, HOLY DOOM

Reborn for injection in the veins of man
A mirror of fear to turn life against life
Set me free in the plan of God

I got this from e-havoc like J. said, I've listened it a LOT since then, as well as Kénôse which is getting tossed on right now.

Fucking killer band, some of the best black metal I've ever heard. Wait, can I even call it black metal? I have no fuckin' idea and don't feel like getting into a genre battle in case these guys aren't Authentic Black Metallers or something.

Correciton: some of the best music I've experienced lately. There we go.
