No, hey, truth is that my ISP just decided to fuck me off and stop giving me my internet access. Afterwards I signed up with another provider who seem to be taking in excess of two weeks to actually get me up and going.
I got a friend to tell MetalAges that I'd be absent whilst my net is down... I sort of figured he'd inform you guys of what's going on... or at the very least get someone to take care of this place :s
Whoever made up that whole co-producing Opeth's new record... man, if you got any way of making that happen, I'm all ears. I hear pirate ships have great acoustic isolation anyway, might give Opeth more of a jiggy feel.
Speaking of which, the Audio Engineering course has been great so far. By most counts, I already knew most of the shit we've covered in the first 3 weeks (which involved filling up half of my textbook with notes in these last 2 weeks), but it's just really great to get everything set in concrete and some actual studio experience. Outboard gear rocks!
Anyway folks, glad y'all care and that... I'm using a friend's internet connection atm so I can't stay on for long... off to go clean up the forum a bit so Mike doesn't take it out on my ass if they lose their record deal or somethin...
