Seriously is there a shortage or something. I feel like I've been looking for one for months. I haven't even found a single guy.

Dude, that shit is everywhere. Due to (IMO) drums being an expensive ass thing to learn.

Think about it. Takes maybe $200 to score a shitty starter package for guitar.

Can't spend less than $4-500 for a complete drumset.

Of course I'm talking durt bullshit cheapo gear as well.

Always "Drummer wanted", hardly ever "Drummer available".
It seems one of those instruments kids are more inclined to give up more than any other instrument which is unfortunate

Plus, practicing is impossible when living in tight neighborhoods, having parents that are always home, etc.

yeah i get so many offers to be in bands around here cause there's barely any decent metal drummers. but always a trillion shitty guitar players!

Kinda shame, but in the end, maybe it's just a good thing. Think about all the shitty metalcore bands that never form because they never find a drummer kind of the natural selection of music.
