By the way I know someone who eats the lettuce that comes beneath mozzarella sticks. Is this common?

I thought mozzarella sticks only came in those cardboard bowl-type things with the red and white checked pattern sides.
Same thing they put hot dogs in, when it's not that wax paper kind of stuff.
