Calling from Belfast!!!
I'm in my friend's house at the moment. What a weekend it's been!!! Tonight I'm on my 5th gig in a row!!! Donington day one on Friday, Metallica at Donington on Saturday, Metallica in Dublin on Sunday, Down in Belfast yesterday and I'm going to see Down again in Dublin tonight - I'm fucking nuts!!! Still got Metallica in Italy to go!!! Metallica have been on top form!!
Hearing Master Of Puppets played in it's entirely is incredible!! Everytime I've heard Orion, I've burst into tears!! Managed to get second row in Dublin and caught a plectrum from Rob. James fell over during Leper Messiah and missed a couple of lines - I was pissing myself laughing!!! Afterwards he said, "That's what I get for spitting on the stage!!"
He was laughing about it tho. They played the new song at Donington which is fucking killer!!! Lars is tearing it up back there, especially the on the double bass!!! Me and my friend's had all heard the song several times before so when they started playing it, me and Mark were singing along and everyone looking at us like, "How the fuck do they know this song?!?!?"
At one point I was standing on the hill watching Avenged Sevenfold and thinking, I'm a Scottish girl standing in the middle of an English racetrack rocking out with an Irishman, Chineseman, Australian, American, Norwegian and an Englishman watching an American band - this is fucking unreal!!!! Met so many cool people from the MetClub and we all just rocked out together!
I'll post photos when I get back cos I can't upload them here. Oh and my good friend Kat got to go backstage and film the entire show for Met On Tour and meet the band again. *insert jealous expletive of your choice here*
