which clip sounds better to you?

Not looking for mix criticisms, but rather why you like on or the other...I've posted the song before, so sorry to keep harping on this, but I *think* I'm getting around where I want to be, but I need fresh ears to compare these 2 clips to each other.

Basically I am using compression on both the individual tracks as well as the master to impart character rather than even out performances. I'm looking to see if what I think I like better is in line with what everyone else hears.
