Which Mesa Boogie Top?

bought it from canada, actually I saved a lot.
Paid 1600€ including: shipping/customs/taxes and a custom modification made by a tech over here to adjust the bias so I can pop all tubes I want
I don't know what's this ZOLL

What kind of mod was that/ how much did it cost?

@ Tomir - I understand what your saying about the different presence knobs and such, but all the clips I've heard of the orange channel have still sounded less organic and more processed/"slick" than my 2-channel (and any clips I've heard of 2-channels). They still sound awesome though!

Yep, hence the "in a nutshell" reference. The 2 and 3 channel heads, even though both sound like Rectifiers, are different beasts, but in my opinion, there really is no "winner" in which one sounds better, just different.

I am just a bit irritated by these 2chan purists, not talking about you, but you know, just the type of guys who go around telling about their "unbiased" comparison tests, telling how much better the 2chan heads sound. Then the ball starts rolling and in the end, everybody agrees that 3channel heads are s***, even people who have never even tried either one That's the glory of discussion forums...

Using the Sneap settings on a 3channel head/red channel, that will sound like crap though

What kind of mod was that/ how much did it cost?

As I said is a bias knob, on all mesa bias is fixed so you should buy mesa tubes or at least tubes that match mesa standards.
I think I paid 100€ it included a custom transformer since the amp was 110V

can do the same on the 2ch (channelcloning)...just no cleans then at the same time
