But I much prefer the early 80's versions of those songs compared to the later 80's versions. Ready an Willin and Saints n Sinners are 2 awesome albums. Alot more bluesy

No way, the newer versions are much better! John Sykes guitar tone is awesome, the vocals are better, the production is better, its all better!

Though I dont mind the old versions either, but they sound, well, old I should buy some old Whitesnake albums, which are the best ones? Should I get that Deep Purple album Coverdale sang on as well?

Oh fuckin oath. He sang on 3 Purple albums. Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste the Band. Both Burn and Stormbringer also have Ritchie Blackmore and Glenn Hughes. Glenn and Dave kinda shared the vocals even though Dave was the lead singer. Get all 3 of them... Dave's voice was alot more raspy back then. He was only 21 when they did Burn... Fuckin awesome shit!

I think you would probably like CTTB more though for some reason. Just a bit more straight up rock. But you have heard the songs BURN, Mistreated, Lay Down Stay Down and Sail Away havn't you? If not... Fuckin get Burn now. Some Daves finest moments.
Of the old Whitesnake... I'd get Ready an Willin and Saints an Sinners. Both had Jon Lord on Keys

You havnt heard Burn or Mistreated? Jesus... You have some awesome music ahead of you. Blackmores riff and solo in burn are fuckin classics!! Mistreated has been a regular in Dio's setlists ever since he used to sing it with Ritchie in Rainbow. You have probably heard it.
