I was going to go, until Cynic and Origin cancelled.

Zyklon, General Surgery, and Ghoul interest me, but not worth the trip. If Ghoul and General Surgery were getting more time I woulda thought it over a little more. In the end though, just not worth the price it would have been to go.

Then again, I'm not the only person who canceled plans after Cynic dropped off... they were the "Holy Shit!" band of the fest, after all.

If I were in the area, I would be there though.

Yeah Cynic and Origin cancelled... that sucks but the Cynic guys act like princesses and that's a shame.

great fun comes from knowing the bands there, and i know OF bands there... not good enough for me. even if the "Cynic guys act like princesses", it doesn't mean I should still support MDF. if they had more bands I liked, then I would. but, in my world, Cynic was the only band worth seeing.

I'm not going because I'm supporting MDF... I'm going because I have a great time every year I go to... Friends come from all over the world, I live only an hour away, and the line up this year is not AS GREAT as last years but I like it.

Why are you guys get all worked up and attack the fest though?
No one is holding a gun to your head about going.. I was just asking
WHO am I going to see, not an opinion about the event....


Have fun at CK, Will and Laura though.. shame I won't see you guys again!

nobody was attacking the festival, they were just stating that they either don't like the bands or cancelled plans after Cynic dropped. and I do agree that when you know alot of people there, it makes for a better time... I just wouldn't know that many people there... ALSO, I gotsta be starting saving for Solitude Aeturnus in TX and the Twilight Zone Convention in North Jersey. Only reason I'm going to Louis CK is that I got tickets before the SA show was announced. *grumble*

I'm sure you'll see me and Laura again!
