Oh, I'm with you...financial year finishes in June here. When that day is past, everyone has to do a Tax Return, which sounds like the same thing as what you're talking about.

I hate filing for taxes. I'm unsure about the process in other countries, but it's possible to make too much money here in the US (unless you're rich, of course). I can't recall there being a year my father didn't have to pay $200+ for doing his job and making money. The government needs their tax dollars to fund weapon development, I suppose.
