Who gets the last word in?

@Rene: Sorry i'm a bit of a chauvinist when it comes to Formula1 :erk:

No plans for me that is,i'm sick they found me fainted yesterday on the kitchen floor, don't know what happend

What about youreself,oh well hope you have fun, with whatever your plans are...

That's not good, having no recollection of how you fainted... Hope you will get better soon.
Not to worry about the F1 stuff, I don't have a very reasonable opinion about it, don't know enough about it to have a good opinion about it, so any way to turn it just disregard my opinion about that subject and you'll do fine:)

As for my plans, I don't have any either apart from a dinner with my father today(for my birthday), but obviously that already passed since it's well pasty dinnertime now. And yesterday I went to a 'concert' of a former roommate, they were playing death and black metal some of it in dutch, and they were pretty good so I had good fun watching/listening.

That's good to hear Rene, was the dinner at youre place or did the two of you go to a restaurant?
I wonder what the name of that band is,Alain went to Hoorn a few weeks ago,and there were a few bands who played in dutch,he enjoyed it very much.

This won't be one of them, this was just a reunion for them, they don't play together anymore I think. There were three bands called: 'Carceri', 'Dutch Decibel' en 'Bastaard'

Dinner was in a restaurant.

Hi Chris how are you doiing?

@Tomas:  now that was fun, what a race..

@Rene: Nope sorry don't know those names,Alain was talking about Nachtveraad,Brutus en Verderf, these bands also play black/death metal..
And thanks for youre concern,i'm feeling better today :)

morning peoples.

@AE: Don't know those bands, I'll try to look something up on them. always funny metal in dutch, although most of the time it just sounds stupid. For some reason it's more natural in english or a language I don't understand.

But then again, how much sense do the lyrics in english songs make? I never really thought they made sense anyway, well there are some that probably do make sense but most will sound just as stupid if translated.

I agree with you in a way,but that doensn't mean that all the lyrics in songs are meaningless,i think it's the contrairy, lyrics can mean a lot to ppl,i'm sure there is someone out there who has a song related to something what happend in his/her life,it can touch one deep in the heart or soul or whatever, even if translated,i just try to say that the Dutch bands i mentioned, use lyrics that doesn't make sense to me,but it might mean something for the one who like this, and that's probbably a good thing, for if we would listen all to the same thing,it would be a bit boring i guess..
Oh dear i hope u understand what i try to say here :erk:

Do not shiver, for one shivers when one is cold and if you get cold when you expect a post
from me then you are cold to often, or you don't expect enough posts from me, but more to
the point, we all know you don't like cold and to shiver and therefore feel cold means you
are not feeling warm and therefore could be feeling better and we all want you too feel
good, so therefore it my posts make you shiver and therefore feel cold would mean I am
doing something wrong and that would be no good, so don't shiver but feel warmed by the
thought that I agree with you and would never want you to shiver a the thought of getting a
reply-post from me, but on the other hand if it is a shiver of anticipation for awaiting
something nice then it is a good thing and I will feel better for making you feel that way.
But since you used the word fear I take it, unless you like fear, that it is not somthing
good you are waiting for but that you are dreading my reaction. But do not fear, for I
agree with you here.

that's good to know, I always like people that agree with me, althought sometimes it's
better to have something to disagree about. It gives room for discussion.

True, I couldn't agree with you more.:) I would even go as far as to say that there is meaning in all lyrics ever written, even if the author didn't want to say anything. There will always be people that have thought by some music, even if it is not really the lyrics they listen too, most of the time they still have some assosiation by the words in the song.

And that would be awfull indeed, for when you think about it it would probablly mean we would only listen to pop-music and pop-music now and then isn't bad, but all the time and nothing else would be simply <insert the wordssounding word you know here>

I think I do, and I hope you do too:)
Anyway, going home now, so i'll see if you understood when I get back there.
*hopes you didn't fear for nothing*
