That is so weird! Because Boney M were an 80's German rock group, and that song is so well known here. Hell, even my ex-classmates knew that song, and they're pretty clueless when it comes to music. Everyone I've asked on the internet (who all happen to be non-Canadian) have never heard of that song, so what, did it only make it big here or something?

@Anya: Well, it is a very catchy song that can get stuck in your head easily, and it's a very common song that people sing at karaoke bars. Plus someone I know went nuts at the bar the other week when they started playing that song and he got down on the floor and started dancing to it. So I just find it interested how while this song is so well known here, seems like no one else knows of it.
