How do you know you're getting old? For me, it's wearing ear plugs at concerts. I've been doing that for a couple years now, ever since I couldn't hear a thing for 4 days over the ringing in my ears and a Motorhead and COC concert.

I got an offer from my current employer to go to Rome for the next two years... I wondering if I should take it, and what I should negotiate for

Don't.

Rome is nice for a week, but I was there for a month, and by the end the novelty had worn off, I started to notice how overpriced everything was, the ridiculous noise levels, the funny smells that took over parts of the city, and how much of an asshole everyone there was.
