I nearly fell in the sea last weekend.

I said nearly. I was on some rocks, and a big wave started to come in, so I turned to get back onto the steps that led down onto the rocks, but there was a load of slippery algae-type stuff on the rocks and I slipped and nearly fell in. That is all.
