Excellent. He's starting to take an interest in his toys (and shove anything in his mouth that he can wrap his hands around). We're probably going to try starting him on solids today or tomorrow, so we're bracing ourselves for the stinky diapers.

I love being a dad...best thing I've ever done!

Awww, how cool! You'll be amazed at how huge a stink can come from such a tiny lil body once they start eating solids..
How old is he now? Any recent photos to show off?

He's four and a half months. I've got tons of photos (of course) that I still have to upload onto the website, but there's some that are from about a month ago here: www.geocities.com/antoniobabypics

Yeah, I've heard that solids can raise a real stink, but I'm not sure we can hold off much longer, because he stares with intense fascination as food goes from our plates into our mouths.

You're right, around 4 months is the time to move on to baby cereals and such & soon after that, to baby food..such a fun transition when you get to start feeding them with a spoon (and the food ends up 1/3 in their tummy, 1/3 on them, and 1/3 on you.. ). Have fun with it!
