Amelie. She's so sweet, quirky and naive, and then she falls in love! Sigh There are a few more that escape my mind now. Edward Scissorhands. It has both Johnny Depp and Tom Jones, hurrah.

He was great as Edward, has that wonderful silent movie actor quality. He didn't need a lot of lines to express a range of emotions. And the ending always makes me angry and cry
