Who gets the last word in?

Hey man you don't live here.
We have 12 that are becoming alcoholics.
And yes the parents should be the ones to blame but when they themself are alcoholics it is not easy.
In sweden we have a anti-alcohol policy but they are not trying to stop it.
We spend count-less hours convincing our children the dangers of drugs but the kids never learn what the dangers with alcohol is so no wonder kids start drinking.
Oh and the "it is fun at a party" line is classic.
It is always fun until someone dies from it.

So now alcoholism is exclusive to Sweden? Sorry pal, you're wrong. I don't know why you're getting all defensive, but over generalizing a group that has no real boundaries is just stupid.

Many countries have problems with alcohol. It's a tragedy to see a twelve year old addicted to any substance, but honestly, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. It's survival of the fittest. If a person can't resist the temptation of alcohol, then it's out of my hands.

"It's always fun until someone dies." Yeah, well.. that's life. You live, you die. It's going to happen sooner or later. If I enjoy drinking and die by doing so, then so be it. Better I die doing something I enjoy rather than being shot down on the street or stuck on a machine until my entire body gives out.

Is it just me, or has the amount of threads in the chat forum been culled somewhat severely in the last couple of weeks?

@TB: I went and got Series 1 of The Family Guy on DVD...I'm hooked ^_^ Stewie is a legend.

We'll continue this in PMs, TB. No use cluttering up this thread with it. :)

I still think Stewie is at his best on the To Live and Die in Dixie episode. "I feel so delightfully white trash! Mommy, I want a mullet!"
