Who gets the last word in?

Hmm, I really don't see it. And I don't see how people compare Jonas' vocals to Maynard's. I always thought Jonas' were so unique and haunting. Actually, here is part of a convo I had with Jonas a few years ago...

IRC operator: jonas, how many times do you sing one song in studio
Jonas: i usually sing the song thru a number of times and then try to nail it. i usually go back and correct shitty things as well.
Me: you have such a great voice. it's so haunting. your lyrics really harmonize with it
Jonas: yeah, i think thay're cool but i have a bit of a problem with the vocals.
Me: is there any specific reason why you stopped with your growls?
Jonas: my growls... disappeared
Me: you just woke up one day and realised you cant do them? :)
Jonas: no, i tried to do them but it sounded like shit.
Me: aww, poor guy
Jonas: we decided to drop them when we started to work on 'discouraged ones'

Well yeah, the music more so than the music, but even so it's still quite different. Maybe because I can pick out Anders' guitar playing very well. He has a very unique style of playing. And particularly in Katatonia he makes it sound very fresh and "perfect".

To each their own. Haha.

According to iTunes I've listened to this track 76 times already. Literally. Can't get any Tool from it. :p

 Well last night I had it on repeat but I got a phonecall so I turned down the volume, and it just kept on playing. Ended up being on the phone for an hour and a half so it added up there. :p

Haha yeah I can only imagine. On my old computer, wow... Acid Bath and Sanctuary had really high counts oddly. Steel too, naturally. :p

Haha, since getting this computer, my top ten most played songs are...

Katatonia - My Twin
The Tea Party - Stargazer
The Tea Party - Heaven Coming Down
Boney M - Rasputin (wtf, my shuffle keeps on choosing to play this)
Uriah Heep - Paradise/The Spell
The Tea Party - Temptation
Born Against - Janelle :p
Opeth - Atonement
U2 - Numb
Led Zeppelin - The Lemon Song

Wtf?

Haha I know, but I have just reason. When I got this computer, my uncle put all his music onto here, so 15GB worth, and while there is alot of crap, there are many songs that I haven't heard in a long long time. The Tea Party I haven't heard in forever so I went nuts listening to them after he put the music on here. As for Rasputin, like I said, my shuffle likes it, plus it is a hilarious song anyway. Paradise = one of my favourite Uriah Heep songs so that is intentional, as for that Janelle song. Weird. It is a VERY short song so I don't know. Atonement is my favourite song off the new Opeth album, and when I got the album I ripped it onto my comp (while most of my metal still remains on CD and not actually on my computer), the U2 song, haven't heard in YEARS so I listened to it alot when I got this computer, and as for the Led Zep song, there is a guy I was involved with and that is his favourite song, so I was seeing what the big deal was.

So there. :p
