I had a look at the programme for next year's Adelaide Festival earlier today and was all set to embark on my usual whinge about how none of my favourite authors ever come to Writer's Week.
Imagine my surprise when I flipped over to page 44 and read that Ruth Rendell AND Reginald Hill are both on the guest list! !

The other great thing about Writer's Week is that it's all free! Unless you're silly enough to pay their ridiculous prices for food, bottled water and so on.
Spiff, Margaret Atwood's supposed to be coming too. Weren't you raving about one of her books a while ago?
