Boltthrower- Honour valour pride

NO ONE WILL EVER BEAT IT....

HAHAHAHA

NEVERMORE is the ultimate band. Each member is a virtuoso at the respective positions in the band (meaning vocals, guitar bass, and drums). Yes, I think Gene Hoglan and Mike Portnoy are great at drums, Steve Digiorgio and Steve Harris at bass, Chuck Shuldiner (R.I.P.) and John Petrucci at guitar, and Geoff Tate, Rob Halford, and Sebastian Bach at vocals, but Nevermore compliment each other well with subtelty, brutality, and technicality and progressiveness. Also, they totally reinvent cover songs (Love Bites, Sound Of Silence, Silent Hedges/Double Dare). This is what makes them the ultimate band.

Being Canadian, i'll post my ultimate CANADIAN metal band,

Vocals & Rhythm Guitar - Devin Townsend
Lead Guitar - Jeff Waters
Drums - Flo Mouriner
Bass - The bass player from Cryptopsy, dunno his name.

What about... a project of:

Warrel on vox
Steve DiGiorgio on bass
Bjorn Gelotte from In Flames on axe
maybe Mike Romeo [Symphony X], Devin Townshend or Santiago Dobles [Aghora] on axe...

what about something like that?

J

Wait, what about a project like the last I proposed with like.. guest spots from Zakk Wylde and Andy Sneap and shit like that?

J

the drumming is the first thing I notice about a band, so I wouldn't say anyone could fill the spot. I forgot to post my ultimate band:

Warrel Dane (vox)
Floor Jansen (vox)
Ron Jarzombek (guitar)
Michael Romeo (guitar)
Steve Digiorgio (bass)
Les Claypool (bass)
Sean Reinert (percussion)
Dave Lombardo (percussion)

that would be an awesome band, 2 of everything. It'd probably be the most disjointed mess you ever heard, but each part would be played amazingly. But seriously, remove Les Claypool and Dave Lombardo, and that would be my ultimate band. Ultra-technical metal with male and female clean vox. Uh-oh, my ears are starting to drool...gotta go.

Later.
