An outdoor metalfest here in Newfoundland would be awsome!
Get all of the local bands to play, and try to get some well known bands too. Hopefully that idea works out!

Judging by the crowd at Fridays show it should be possible to get at least 1 decent name band here to the Rock. The proof would be in the pudding. Maybe advance ticket sales would be the way to go for this....
Is Wallace Hammond doing the sound at Calio's? He's usually the one they use. If so, he may be able to record all the sets. He did a few of ours a couple of years ago. He may still have the gear set up for a recording straight off the board.
The few that Wallace has done for us sounded pretty good. They aren't high quality, but they sound better than video camera sound.
