Who's going to Morbid Angel this Sunday?

Nope.
Morbid Angel is seriously one of the worst bands I have ever seen live.
Though I think this was during one of their "off" periods in the late 90s when they had different members or something.

this show will do well.

I will be at Fates Warning on Friday.

Ha ha ha! I also saw them during the '90s and didn't like them at all. That was before I got into death metal though. I feel like if I don't see them again it'll be... unresolved, I guess. Besides, the 20th anniversary of "Covenant" coincides with my 20th anniversary of being a metalhead. 20 years straight!

And the 20th anniversary of your last hair cut!!!!!

I would like to check out Bones and Funeral Nation, but being a Sunday is a major turn off for me. Would definitely be a cool show to check out. Wonder how this will do. I bet pretty decent.

it will be a hard sell with Morbid Angel playing the same night. I really wish this was a saturday night show. sucks it is a sunday.

I cant say before this show that I ever even heard of Witchtrap, though that's not really my style.

I am sure Brian (dcowboys) will say that's blasphemy and send me to the corner with my Manilla Road albums, but that's fine with me!!!

I wouldn't walk across the street to see Morbid Angel play groove-metal versions of Immortal Rites and Maze of Torment. Fuck David Vincent and get Tucker back for fucks sake.

Of the three times I've seen Morbid Angel, last week's show on this tour was by far the best. I'm probably all set with them now, and ending on a good one.

I'll be at Witchtrap. I've seen them a couple times in Colombia and they are a killer live act. They have alot of heavy metal and thrash in their music that would appeal to anyone that likes these.
They also have another band called NIGHTMARE with the same guys from Witchtrap that those of you into more traditional metal might like

NIGHTMARE

both are great...I didn't know till a few months ago that the Witchtrap guys were in Nightmare as well.

Morbid Angel were really good last night. They kind of fucked up "Immortal Rites," but other than that I don't have any big complaints. I'm definitely glad I saw them.

I missed the first band. The next one, Czar, was terrible. They're the kind of band that gets torn apart in DeathMetal.org's Sadistic Metal Reviews. Some of their members are in Acumen Nation. I think I would rather have seen Acumen.

The turnout was pretty good. It wasn't packed but there were a lot of people there.

Witchtrap cancelled last night due to the singer getting a nasty infection on his arm and was rushed to the hospital on saturday night. They still had the show at Reggies. Drew more than Raven did actually. I would say about 70 - 80 people. I can say this....getting out at 10:30 was fantastic.

The singer from Witchtrap is still in the hospital but is supposed to get out tomorrow and they may be able to play their remaining 2 shows in Boston and LA.
Maybe they will be able to come back next year and play on a Saturday when there is no Morbid Angel concert the same night.
Anyways here is a video of Witchtrap in NY
