Ok, so here is The Human Abstract's "Patterns"



And here is a piano cover of the same song



Both versions I really like, but the piano version sounds like something that Danny Elfman (composer for most Tim Burton movies) would write.

I don't really know what the topic of this thread would be, I guess just start posting videos of cool piano covers? There's a chick on youtube with the screenname of "vkgoeswild" that has a shitload of piano covers that you should check out.

Piano by itself rocks like hell. You can play so many voices compared to a shitload of other instrument, it's just crazy.
I didn't came caross some cool piano metal cover lately, but if you're into Video games music, definately check out Final Fantasy's music in piano collection, this is priceless

This guy is awesome. Ended up being the keyboard player for Ashes Divide (Billy Howerdel's band). He's got a bunch of other covers on his page.
