Why has no-one mentioned Amorphis

I notice no-one is or has been talking about the new Amorphis album. Why? Discuss.

I downloaded some new Amorphis, and to be honest, I don't really like it much. And I think that it could possibly qualify as metal, though definitely not death metal. I have their first two CDs, and I like them both a lot, especially the first one - good METAL.

Amorphis is still metal. I like this band. The new album is very good, but i'd rather prefer Elegy or Tuonela LP.

Amorphis' best are Black Winter Day, Tales of the Thousand Lakes, Elegy, and My Kantele. Tuonela is when they started to drop in quality.

I've discovered Amorphis with the song "Black Winter Day", but Tuonela was my first LP of this band. In France, it's very difficult to find them.
I like this album, maybe because is was my first of them ?

Tales From the Thousand Lakes is their masterpiece, the rest is okay, i just don't care too much for it....

I have Far From The Sun, and it's okay. Haven't listened to it as much as other albums.
Does anyone else think the lead singer sounds like the guy from Feeder?

I haven't even heard the new one yet. The only time I have seen it available was as an expensive import and it was copy-protected to boot (my work truck won't play any copy protected stuff). As soon as it gets a proper release in the States, I'll pick it up. Why not? I have everything else by them...

to me, they did the right thing. Amorphis are exactly this: amorphous

and yeah, their new album IS indeed good. i have it too shortly a time to make a final statement but so far "Far From The Sun" is no disappointment at all.

I'd like to get the new Amorphis, but I'll have to wait until it's gets a U.S. release. I don't feel like spending a left nut on it imported.

i dunno..but in my opnion,i love the new album.
Some bands suck when they change thier ego,some don't,and amorphis definitely didn't.From karelian isthmus to am universum,I will always love thier music.

Karelian Isthmus and Tales From The Thousand Lakes are the best ones, but the rest are very enjoyable too
