Is it because he wants to be famous and posts about himself, or because of you wankers who insist on mentioning his name in every post whilst fapping to photos of his biceps?
It's because he's insecure and wants to receive validation from others in almost every aspect of his life. When ignored, he begins to fellate himself, posting pics, raving about dubious achievements, etc. Any one of us could be a "dave", if they were ill-received on this forum. It doesn't take a lot a lot of brains to manipulate someone else's posts and make him appear as an imbecile, although Dave's posts lent themselves pretty easily to this treatment.
He didn't really know what image to assume to mend this situation so he started mimicking other well-liked posters hoping to win some recognition, but ended up being ridiculed due to being overly transparent. So, failing that he maintained his dummy image, LOLing whenever he goes and saying and doing just the things that everyone expected from him.
I don'y know why, but I actually find all this to be pretty sad. Of course the criticism leveled against him is certainly not undeserved, and I admit to having fun taking part in his dismemberment but he should have been given a fairer chance.
I think Blue Jay would have been a better scapegoat for the board but he's just too easy of a target.
