Each "section" of the arena is the fan's section for whatever knight, so if you're sitting in the "green" section, you cheer for the green knight, etc. Russell worked as a knight at the Medieval Times in NJ for a while, but because of the risk of injury (and after already being injuring his chest to the point where it hurt his singing) he has since switched to being the soundguy.
The Jim Carrey/Matthew Broderick movie "The Cable Guy" has a scene where they go to Medieval Times, so if you'd like to see what its like, you can rent that.
BTW, when you look at the photos on the website, notice how nearly EVERY knight there looks like a powermetal singer?

BTW, wouldn't Russell make a great actor? I'd love to see him in a film like "The Lord of the Rings", maybe not as Aragorn (or why not?) but a character like that. He'd be amazing!!!

Because he is a great show-man, duh. The way he performs on stage is incredible and, in the words of MeatLoaf "they are pretty much the same now aren't they?", acting and performing a song, that is.
