Why was Fredrik Akesson let go from Arch Enemy?

He's a killer guitar player. I just can't understand why they asked him to leave the band. Is it because the other Amott brother wanted to return to the band? It's a shame Akesson had to leave without recording anything with them.

i think he was just a fill in for the original guitarist. when he came back fred was let go. he always says how being in arch enemy just felt like he was a fill in.

The other guy left to do a degree or something I think, so Akesson was always a temporary replacement, he left when the other guy came back.

Christopher Ammott wanted to finish college. Fredrik is on the Arch Enemy live DVD. He talks a little here and there in it. He did a great job when i saw him on Gigantour 2, along with Opeth.

i would think michael amott is arch enemy, but i think the two brothers compliment each other very well
