Can't help you about their tone but i must say i love this band also. The "WHVN" album is a masterpiece, both in terms of songwriting and production.

Happy to see other people who like them !!! But hey, you're from France too :kickass: They are well respected over here , and even more in UK , no ? I don't think they have so much success in their own country :erk:

Anyway, I agree. Will Haven is one of the best band on earth for me. My favorite album is still "El Diablo", but the last one is cool in term of songwriting (mix is cool, but I don't like mastering too much on this one).

So you're French ? Where from exactly ? Tu viens d'où ?

About Will Haven, I like El Diablo, i really like Carpe Diem, i enjoy the last one (i just prefers Grady's singing than his replacement singing), but i think "WHVN" is nothing but AWESOME.

Will Haven is quite respected by the 22-32 year old crowd, but the younger people don't know shit about them i guess. In the UK they played there with Crowbar 2 years ago or something so they might be more popular indeed.

Happy to see people who loves this band as much as I love it. :headbang:
For the bass sound ... not so sure about that, since WH is mainly a "guitar band". It's not Cult of Luna kind of sound. There is much guitar is WH I think. I can hear a lot of chorus / flanger stuff in the sound of the guitar but that's it for now.

And to Djabthrash: I'm from Dijon. Please do you play in a band, do you have a myspace ? :kickass:

Another big fan of Will Haven here.

I remember seeing them at the Ranch Bowl opening for Deftones and (Gasp!) Limp Bizkit. Grady had lost his voice so Chino sang Will Haven's whole set.

Pure Awesome.

Saw them opening for Fear Factory during the Obsolete tour, just after the release of "WHVN". Awesome show. (FF was at its best at that time also).

Grady Avenell has very intense and hateful vocals, so is Will Haven's music.
