Scott Kelly (Neurosis) and Robert Scott ‘Wino’ Weinrich (Saint Vitus, Shrinebuilder, etc.) and are planning some shows together for early next year, initial dates include:

02/05 West Hollywood, CA – Viper Room
02/07 San Diego, CA – Casbah
02/08 Austin, TX – Emo’s
02/09 Chicago, IL – Abbey Pub
02/10 Allston, MA – Great Scott
02/11 Baltimore, MD – Sonar Club

I also wanted to mention that WINO is going to be doing a special in-store performance at the Volcom LA store on January 15, 2011 to premiere the ADRIFT album. Heard a couple of songs off of Adrift. Not what I'm used to from Wino, but it's not bad for a change of pace.

Heard a couple of songs off of Adrift. Not what I'm used to from Wino, but it's not bad for a change of pace.

It is a different Wino experience for sure, but one that comes with a very compelling story. Wino actually goes into the details of what inspired the new acoustic record in the extended liner notes of the U.S. version we (Volcom Entertainment) are putting out in the next few weeks or so. It's been an honor.
