WINTER RULES the thread

Growing up on the west coast of canada, wind and rain don't bother me. Theres this convenient thing called: jacket and "appropriate clothing" which helps in most situations, except the more extremely cold winters they get up north. My colleague from Siberia has experienced -45 C and says "after -20, its all bad".

Yeah, we get -20 to -30, and it's just terrible. You pretty much sit inside and read/beer/internet.

Growing up in Minneapolis I had my share of brutally cold days. They were a pain in the ass but, in a way, they were welcome. Depending on your living situation it was a great opportunity to get caught up on movies/videos games/masturbation. I miss having real winters.

You are welcome to stop back and enjoy the winters in Minnesota any time. :)

Cold can be solved by layers. Heat can be solved by nothing when you live in Texas. Just looking at Mexicans in the heat makes me sweat. I like to pretend they're just a mirage.

yeah but you don't see me whining about our winters that would probably KILL you even with all that insulative blubber

Hi, I'm einride. I'm from Sweden which makes me cooler and more metal than most. My pizzas smell of hair and vice versa. I sometimes go days without eating, because the females here in Sweden like men with girlish figures. Anyone hear of any new obscure Swede bands that no one will mention 20 years from now? I feel the more obscure they are, the more musically capable.

I love winters back where I grew up - lots of snow, cold temperatures and just plain awesomeness. Here by the coast winter rules: not so much... But we actually had quite a bit of snow and everything this year though, so that was nice.
