I've been trying to figure out how to tame the bass on this track and think I've got a more or less grip on it, but I'm still very new to this kind of mixing and would like some feedback on it. Thanks!
Hey dude, your bass lacks low end. There is a technique widely used for manipulating bass where you split your bass into 2 channels, the one being your "mid or high bass" and the other the "low end bass" and then you can control your low end or your high end of the bass individually. Practically you are having 2 channels with the same .wav and you EQ them accordingly so you have one only with high frequencies of the bass (like 140 and above) and the other with only low frequencies (100 and below).
