wtf is up with the snaps at the beginning with like a chamber verb on them? I just don't get it.

There's a big debate between me and my friends on who's going to be better. Woe is me or issues? I'm sold to issues after this.

I'm not digging the production on the Issues tracks at all (it's the first time i've ever been disappointed by Kris Crummet production) and the songwriting is really fucking boring, like really, the 2 issues tracks are amongst the most boring metalcore songs i've ever heard.

At least the new WIM tracks are spiced up by "overproduction"...

Haven't heard much from each. I think just a singles from wim and the cover issues did for pop goes punk. Production aside, I think they've gone their seperate ways for the better. Wim sounds a bit more technical and raw(the songwriting not production. We all know that's over the top) and issues seems like is giving the singer a bit more vocal space, which to me is why he left wim in the first place.

no. issues is so much better. i'm sorry that you need overproduction to like music..

music is dead.

but for real. issues cd is amazing, so much more than boring metalcore, mainstream influence in the cleans and guitars, RnB stuff, i think its dope as hell.

It's metalcore, it obviously has to overproduced to work. Most of the guys in metalcore bands can barely play their instruments and their even worse at writing comprehensive songs.

Most of the time it's just bunch of chugging into a rnb-ish chorus (every song on the Issues EP, every song WIM has ever written)-

I'm not saying that i need overproduction to enjoy music. Most of my favorite bands are barely "produced" at all. I'm just saying that metalcore is usually badly written. The guys in WIM and Issues probably couldn't write a cohesive song to save their lives (also, i'm not implying that i could do any better, but i'm not a songwriter).
