i just watched a doc about real life 'superheroes'. it was pretty entertaining. i don't think costumes are good for real life crime fighting though.

real-life crime fighting you'd need armour, you'd need both projectile weapons and melee swinging weapons, you'd need holster/sheath type things to have your weapons strapped to your body, you'd need a motorcycle to use to escape police (in most countries, vigilante-ism is still a crime, even if the criminals you "catch" decide they don't want to press assault charges on you) you'd need gloves so that cops can't figure out who the vigilante is, you'd need a mask to prevent civilians figuring out who you are and having friends/relatives/buisiness partners seeking revenge on you, you'd need night-vision goggles and attack criminals when it's pitch-black to get the upper hand with opponents that are taller and/or stronger and/or more flexible and/or better trained in streetfighting and/or better reflexes/agility than you, you'd need to train yourself in how to use virtually every weapon in existence, as well as training yourself in boxing and colegiate styled wrestling and at least one form of matial arts, and make yourself as flexible and agile as possible and keep your reflexes as sharp as possible, just so you'd be able to engage in unarmed, hand-to-hand combat with an opponent trained in any possible style of streetfighting, you'd need special armour that didn't limit mobility, you'd need to do recon and attack your opponents with their own weapons, you'd need electically insulated costume so that you don't elecrocute yourself when you elecrocute your opponents, and for your projectile weapons, you'd prolly end up using a paintball gun or bb gun just to get ammo that can be left at the scene without being traceable back to you, the reason that i'm not a RLSH is really just cuz i'm just way too goddam lazy
