I think the quality of superhero movies has greatly increased over the past few years, but I think the market is just way too saturated with them. There's like 6 superhero movies this year at least.
The Dark Knight Trilogy are the only superhero movies i'd consider 'great'. I feel like aside from that, they are all of the same quality more or less. They are good but they don't leave me with anything.
Am I the only one who thinks making a movie about Ant Man is a stupid idea? Granted I don't read comic books, but I can't imagine anyone in the 21st century taking a superhero movie about someone called Ant Man very seriously.
