sucked, Tom Cruise is a horrible actor in this movie, I walked out one hour into it and came home and listened to the Orson Welle's original radio broadcast version man ........technology has been defeated....the original radio broadcast kills....period

Great stuff and just re-released on CD, it features Justin Hayward and several other known rock singers.
Ending screws op the whole movie. It REALLY sucked that the son wasn't dead at the end, wich was so unbelievable predictible .
The special effect are cool but it just has to many failures. Tom Cruise must DIE a.s.a.p.

Just the changes that they made to the film really messed with the storyline and logic on what Wells was trying to say.
I'm tired of Hollywood have to put thier " stamp " on everything they remake now. Especially stories like this that have been around for a 100 years.
If it has worked for that long dont' mess with it just because your ego can't take the fact that it's not YOUR story.

overall i found it to be a good interpretation.

there were some flaws in the movie, but what hollywood movie doesn't contain flaws.
i take it for what it is: a hollywood movie.

I heard there were a lot of really bad plot holes in this movie, but some really amazing visuals kind of made up for that.

Agreed...seriously...it wasnt necessarily Cruise who beefed it for me..it was just kinda poorly done...some of the scenes were cool and creepy but other than that...ill stick with the old classic movie and said radio broadcast...Sentient6 said:
