I agree with Trapped their earlier stuff is much better! I don't even listen to mosquito anymore. If mosquito was the first disc of theirs that I listened to I'm sure that I would have felt the same as rusted.
My favorite is Into the Everflow, that is something I couldn't believe when I was listenint to it for the first time. But I like all their stuff, even the albums like Bleeding.
Hey, guys, has anyone of you heard the album of Devon Graves (formerly known as Buddy Lackey ) and band?? I was told it is amazing!!
You must get (hint=why don't you try BUYING them) the first PW and then definitely check out Into the Everflow which is nearly as good. I know it's sometimes hard finding them, but I don't want to hear it - because I tracked em down from absolutely NO info before it was so easy finding stuff on the net. I'm talking before the self-titled was even available. Just because I heard one track Halo of Thorns on a tape of someones... and was blown away over it! So call Blue Meanine in San Diego. Surely they have some cds as the drummer works (or worked) there.
They're fantastic. The self-titled will go down in history as one of the most overlooked yet downright amazing records ever done.
Mosquito I love about 4 of the songs, a couple tho I can't hardly listen to... too annoying. The tracks Hazeone and Lovestone Blind... hell yeah! Its worth owning the cd for just these 2 songs to be honest.
Nah, different guy, but similar voice. Most people say it the other way around, though (the SA guy reminds them of the PW guy) hehe. As for buying the CDs, I managed to find all of them except Into the Everflow. The PW homepage has reprints of all of them that Dan Rock (the guitarist) has made in his own little print shop, but I don't know whether the insert is real professional quality. So, until I can find this out, I still search for Into the Everflow...
Yes Neverlady I have heard the Devon Graves album. Band and CD are called Dead Soul Tribe, and it is killer. Has some Psychotic Waltz references but also new thingies. Good one!
