uhmm.. somebody please critique me on this and help me out.. i made a custom tone in amplitube 3 and im really trying to get this to sound right... guitar is tuned in B.. DAW is FL studio:Spam:

well...

1) delete half of the kick hits, because it just sounds like a really long fart. NO drummer will ever play that fast and if they do, it still sounds like shit.
2) WAY too much scooping, gain and low end on the guitars. Highpass them from atleast 100hz and drop the bass knob
3) don't compress it so much, it's pumping really bad
4) put better focus on the 1-6khz area

Try using the preset "Heavy Northern" Just remember to turn the reverb off on the rack mount in Amplitube.

And bricking the audio = bad.. You don't want that to happen..

Basically cut all frequencies below 100 on the guitar.. Then fill those frequencies in with the bass guitar. Bass is always half your guitar tone.

im working on another track right now to see what i can do... i love messing with all this stuff
