Please help me to get a better guitar tone.

I accept all the advice and criticism!

Guitars: Ibanez rgr 321 Emg 81/85 into Line 6 Pod Studio Ux2
DAW: Cubase 5.2
Drums: Truth Custom Black & Gold drums
Keys: Nexus 2
Bass: Midi (I have no bass)

Kronk's right, pick harder and tune. Rhythms sound pretty muddy, and I can't hear any bass. The pinch harmonic at 0:18 could use less 'verb, to me it doesn't really fit in the mix, it also cuts off before the 'verb is done ringing out. The hop effect at 0:20 on the right guitar sounds like an actual audio error, might wanna change that up. The drums could use some humanizing.
 
Also, OD pedals (VST or real) have a really great effect on Podfarm and Guitar Sim's in general. Run the Drive at 0, level at 10 and the Tone at wherever it sounds good. Creates a really healthy line level boost. The better the signal into the amp sim, the better the output.
 
maybe the signal would be better with a DI (i was thinking/reading an a Countryman Type 85)
