The Shrouded Grove is the debut demo of Writhe, the second project of John D. Reedy released in September. Stylistically it is comparable to Walknut, Altar of Plagues and Woods of Desolation, however at the same time it captures a unique niche of its own. It has strong cinematic and conceptual themes throughout, forming a brooding atmosphere. All instrumentation and recording done by John D. Reedy.
